Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account data: email, password (stored only as a salted hash), and an 18+ attestation. Verification data: for creators and for viewer age checks, we use a third-party identity provider (Didit). The provider examines your government ID and/or performs facial age estimation; Dusk stores an attestation of the result, the method, timestamps, and a reference to the provider’s record — not your ID image. Records data: for persons depicted in content, we maintain the age/identity records required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257, with legal name and date of birth encrypted at rest. Usage data: content you upload, interactions, watch activity (used for creator revenue share and safety), IP address, and device/user-agent for security.

2. How we use information

To operate the Platform; verify age and identity; review and moderate content; detect and report illegal material; prevent fraud and abuse; calculate creator earnings from validated watch time; comply with legal obligations; and secure the service.

We also analyze usage in aggregate — for example counts of views, watch time, follows, sign-ups, and revenue over time — to understand how the Platform performs, improve it, and report platform-level statistics. These aggregate statistics do not identify you personally, and any statistics we share outside the company (for example with partners or investors) are aggregated and anonymized.

3. How we share information

With verification, hosting, content-delivery, payment, and advertising providers as needed to run the Platform; with NCMEC and law enforcement where required by law; and to comply with legal process. We do not sell your personal information. We do not place personal or sensitive data in URLs.

4. Security and retention

We use encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive fields, access controls, and audit logging of records access. We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, statutory record-keeping and preservation obligations). Identity documents are retained by the verification provider under their controls.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR/UK GDPR and CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Some data cannot be deleted where retention is legally required. Contact us to exercise your rights.

6. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary, httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. We minimize non-essential tracking.
